| Hey to all. I'm Ramon Nario, a 17-year-old from the Philippines, and an audio-engineer-in-training. Well, not really real, strict and professional training, but you get exactly what I mean if you're in this forum reading this post. XD I am not at all new to the world of music mixing and/or production and composing in general and have had some years of experience with multiple instruments. I've only been playing electric guitar for a year when I finally earned enough to buy one. I have my own personal music project called LEAF XCEED Music Division that has original compositions and remixes of anything, usually video games. But those were by synthesized and sampled instruments, and I want to take it one step further by being able to play myself, discovering tips and tricks in the tones software amplification can give and of mixing in general. Hope to be able to learn from these forums! | |

| ...I've been spotted XD I use FL Studio, Realstrat, Amplitube, free impulses, free amp VSTs and probably whatever I'd need for software amplification. And then there's Edirol Orchestral and of course, iZotope Ozone 4. | |

well you are on a great road to sound producing victory mate. all you need is ears! and eyes, unless you have a braille version of protools. you might be able to use one without your nose, but then how could you tell if your mix stinks?

| cubase always seemed like the most sterile to me.with protools behind.
but those looks make them very "professional" looking.
i would just hate to stare at it all day.
