| i have been in a gear metamorphosis for my recent memory. sold all my tube amps, all my pedals, all of my multi fx,all of my axes except for the collectibles(well, even some of the collectibles). to go with the sad but imminent future in modeling/pc based gear. with that i decided to make the jump to 7 string Multiscale guitars. the thing that always hindered me from purchasing one was the lack of a floating tremolo. so i designed one.i wish i could show you the pics but i cant risk this idea being stolen by the interweberz. also, against my better judgement i WILL post a mockup of the guitar i designed. Specs: Mahogany tone block/Alder wings chambered Rosewood neck/ebony fingerboard 25.5-27 scale length SS jumbo frets 4 string scallop on frets 13-27 Fiber Optic inlays Piezo/both/Mag 3-way rotary 6-way rotary pickup selector Bare Knuckle Pickups jem style jack Sperzel locking tuners this build will take place from now until December,so it will be slow. But,i will keep it updated. Any ideas as far as specs or wild/unique features are welcomed. tell me what you think. | |
